Home Tuition in London

1-to-1 tuition, face to face, in your own home

A tutor comes to you for focused, one-to-one lessons at times agreed in advance. We support Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form students, as well as adult learners, across London in Maths, English and Science, and other subjects on request.

Why Learn at Home

Focused learning in a familiar setting

Some students learn best with someone sitting beside them. Home tuition removes the travel, keeps the lesson in a space the student already knows, and gives the tutor a clear view of how they work through each problem.

  • Undivided, one-to-one attention for the whole lesson.
  • Face-to-face explanations, step-by-step demonstrations and written practice together.
  • A pace set by the student, not by a class or a timetable.
  • No travel to a tuition centre, which makes regular lessons easier to keep up.
  • Lessons linked to what the student is covering at school.
What Parents Can Expect
  • Lesson days and times agreed with you in advance.
  • For students under 18, a parent or responsible adult at home throughout each lesson.
  • A quiet space with a table where the student can work without distractions.
  • Regular progress updates, so you know what has been covered and what comes next.

Home tuition is arranged subject to tutor availability in your part of London. Progress depends on each student's starting point, effort and circumstances; specific outcomes are not guaranteed.

How It Works

From first enquiry to regular lessons

A simple process, organised around the student and your family's routine.

01

Send an enquiry

Tell us about the student, their year group, the subjects they would like support with and roughly where in London you are.

02

Talk through their needs

We arrange a consultation to understand their goals, what they find difficult and how they like to learn.

03

Tutor matching

We look for a tutor who suits the student's level, subject and learning needs, and who can reach your area.

04

Lessons at home

Lessons take place at your home on the days and at the times agreed with you in advance.

05

Progress updates

You receive regular updates on what has been covered, how the student is getting on and what to focus on next.

06

Review and adjust

As school topics and the student's needs change, lesson plans are reviewed with you and adjusted where needed.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which parts of London do you cover?
Home tuition is available in London, subject to tutor availability in your area. Let us know roughly where you are when you get in touch and we will confirm what we can arrange. If home lessons are not possible, online tuition is available anywhere in the UK.
Does a parent need to be at home during lessons?
Yes. For students under 18, a parent or responsible adult must be at home for the whole of each lesson. This keeps lessons safe and transparent for everyone.
How are lesson times arranged?
Lesson days and times are agreed with you in advance, based on the student's week and the tutor's availability. If you need to change a lesson, please let us know as early as possible.
How will I know how my child is progressing?
You will receive regular progress updates covering what has been worked on, where the student is doing well and what the next priorities are. You are always welcome to ask questions at any point.
Do you teach subjects other than Maths, English and Science?
Maths, English and Science are our core subjects. Other subjects may be available on request, so please mention them in your enquiry and we will let you know what is possible.
