Online Tuition Across the UK

Live 1-to-1 lessons, wherever you are in the UK

Scheduled, live one-to-one lessons with a tutor, delivered online. We support Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form students, as well as adult learners, in Maths, English and Science, and other subjects on request.

How Online Lessons Work

Real-time teaching, not pre-recorded videos

Every online lesson is a live session between the student and their tutor. They talk, work through problems together and share their working on screen, just as they would sitting at the same table.

  • Live sessions scheduled at days and times agreed in advance.
  • A shared digital whiteboard for step-by-step working, diagrams and practice questions.
  • Screen sharing so the tutor can walk through resources and worksheets with the student.
  • One-to-one attention for the whole lesson, with no other students in the session.
  • Regular progress updates for parents on what has been covered and what comes next.
What You Will Need
  • A laptop, desktop computer or tablet with a working camera, speakers and a mic, or a headset.
  • A stable internet connection that can support live online lessons.
  • A quiet place to work, ideally with a headset to cut out background noise.
  • Paper, pens and a calculator where the subject requires one.

We will explain how to join lessons before the first session. Progress depends on each student's starting point, effort and circumstances; specific outcomes are not guaranteed.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is online tuition as effective as face-to-face lessons?
For many students, yes. Lessons are live and one-to-one, with a shared whiteboard for working through problems together. Some students prefer having a tutor in the room, which is why we also offer home tuition in London. We can talk through which suits the student during the consultation.
Which software do you use for lessons?
We will confirm how lessons are delivered and how to join before the first session. All you need is a device with a camera, speakers and a mic, and a stable internet connection.
Can parents sit in on online lessons?
Parents are welcome to be nearby during lessons, and lesson arrangements for under-18s are always agreed with a parent or guardian first.
What happens if the connection drops during a lesson?
Short interruptions happen occasionally. The student and tutor simply rejoin the session. If a connection problem affects a lesson significantly, get in touch and we will talk through the options with you.
